Weekly review
Current picture ·Displacement and public services
Human Rights Monitor’s April–June 2026 review reports further operations and armed violence in Puncak and Intan Jaya, with operations also recorded in Nduga and other regencies. It describes civilian harm, fear and interruption of health and education services. These are attributed monitoring findings. Regional displacement estimates cannot be transferred to an individual case, and the report’s coverage period should remain visible when interpreting its account.
